Importing MXF files
I start a project and a bin on one computer but capture video to an external hard drive. The bin has been deleted and I have nothing pointing me to the video on the external hard drive. Is there a way to import the mxf files back to the avid from the external hard drive? Any help would be great thank you.

HELP! I'm in HDV land with an old product!

And thank you in advance for helping.
Rockwell Automation has recently decide to make the move (sort of) into HD, via HDV.
I have an older Media Composer Adrenaline 2.5.3.24 and Mac OS 10.4.6.
Here's the issue: I need to hook up the deck (Sony HVR-25) via firewire but I can't get it to work. Importing files is OK.
I realize the Adenaline takes over the port, but I've heard there is a workaround. I turned off the I/O, configured the firewire port, but the app does not see the deck. Does anyone know how to make this work?... Or does it work?

BOBS and MC
I can't seem to get the Liquid Pro BOB to work with MC - and searching around, it seems that is 'normal' - it doesn't. I have a Canopus ADVC-100 (in the attic somewhere) - can anyone say off hand whether that can be used to get analogue input to MC?
If not - my miniDV players pass-through capabilities would probably work: but the ADVC would be a better I think.

HELP!!! Audio crash at export to QT...
Hi guys, hope somebody could help me...
Recently I bought a nem XDCAM EX3 Camera, and start my first project @ 1080p resolution.
My edit became ready to export, and I made an QT with audio. The final result was catastrofic. The video signal was good, but the audio signal, cames with excessive faults at the beginning. Only after a half of minute the audio became normal...
After this, i try an audio export only as WAV, and the audio gained static noise...
My final try is an audio/video mixdown, still the same...
Could anyone have an idea what is it???

Video overrun problems MC2.8
I was going to work with my "new" PC and try to capture some DVCAM-material. The capturing stops after 13 - 18 sec and MC says "Capture aborted due to video overrun. The media captured ...". The SATA media drive is all new, just installed in the system. Connected directly to the motherbord, no extra controllercard.
I tested to capture 1,5 min video to an external 500GB USB-drive, no problems
What I´m I missing?
